Drugs Control Officer Training and Toolkit:

The BDFPA will be running a Drugs Control Officers Course for all those who wish to undertake the training and for all referees who have yet to be trained in Drugs Testing procedures.  The above document is a guide on how to conduct testing and is a useful reference tool following training as a BDFPA Drugs Control Officer.  Additional training and understanding of the system is encouraged and individuals who are involved in the collection of samples or just who wish to familiarise themselves with the process or how to support anti-doping polices are additionally signposted to the UKAD site where the Coach Clean Course is listed - http://www.ukad.org.uk/pages/coach-clean/.  When the BDFPA Powerlifting Coaching course are established the requirement to complete the Coach Clean Course will be an element of passing the course as it is a requirement from the Skills Active board to have this qualification for a Level 2 coach and above.
