If you are applying for the first time, or if there has been a substantial gap in your membership, your membership application must be approved by the National Council as part of drug control procedures. Processing of applications will take up to two weeks. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have joined or renewed your membership in sufficient time before a competition.
The online membership system enables you to easily update your details and to make online payment of your fees, for a transaction fee of 6% plus VAT. If you prefer to use the paper forms, which do not incur this fee, please download the form here and follow the instructions carefully. Note that the paper route can take up to three weeks.
You must normally be a member in good standing for three months before a competition in order to attempt a national record. See the rules page on this site for details.
